A very nice and friendly pub. Pleasant staff. Great beer. Serves food. We didn't try any, but the meals looked good. I would advise to book a table prior to your visit, as it does get busy. Friday is steak night by all accounts. There is a big spacious beer garden with plenty of tables and a children's play area.
Really pleasant time spent here with my family. We only ordered drinks but intend on coming again for food. The ladies on the duty were welcoming and attentive (especially with my questioning 10 year old). We say out in the beer garden at the back and it was much bigger than anticipated. Will be returning.
Went to see a friend of the family who lives just down the road from this pub, so we thought we would pop in for lunch. I'm so glad we did as the food is fantastic and that is an understatement. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. All the food was piping hot when it came out, and the portion size was perfect. The pub is very clean and tidy and has a massive beer garden at the back. Very safe to take children as they can't get out once the are in the garden. All said and done i couldn't fault this place on any level. If you are in the town of Par call in as I can't praise this place enough.
