We’ve been here a few times and I give 1 star because their breakfast is SO good and has always been satisfying but this was our second time having dinner and everything on my plate was canned and microwaved and I am not over exaggerating. I NEVER leave reviews but saw how many great reviews this place had and thought no way?! How?! Something must of changed in the last couple years because dinner was horrible. My husband couldn’t even take 3 bites before he just put down the steak sandwich and decided it was fit more for our doggies at home. (They enjoyed it lol). And on TOP of this, our server is always so rude and unfriendly and acts like it’s such an inconvenience that we are even there. She acts like she does not want to be there at all or help you with anything. We are not complainers so we just paid our bill, still left a tip…… but thought I should warn others. This place used LOTS of canned ingredients and it’s gross.
The Friday special of fresh fish and a bowl of chowder was fantastic. Both were excellent. Our waitress Alexia did a fantastic job of serving even with a full bar area of customers. We try catching the Friday special every week we can. Their chowder is at least as good if not better than over on the coast.
Our young waitress was training a new girl and was so polite and good at what she did I wish I'd got her name. Absolutely a plus to your Restaurant. I had the Tahoe omelet and was very good cooked to perfection. Thank you for the great experience. Dave
