Lovely pub, which we found by chance because other places were full. Nice to see a good selection of ales on tap and delicious food - and plenty of space to sit outside in the garden with a great play area to keep the kids entertained. Ideal place to spend a couple of hours on a bank holiday Monday. Looking forward to a return visit soon.
Really nice stay in a quiet and very green area. The lodging is part of an old typical English pub, cosy and with a nice atmosphere. The owner was very nice to us, she ensured our breakfast in the morning was served quickly as we had to leave early for the ferry in Dover. The food was delicious, the room was spacious, clean and quiet. Highly recommended.
Superb! Heard that the Crown was under new management so ventured out on the August bank holiday Monday. Was not disappointed. Stunning setting, superb service and the food was very tasty. We will definitely be back soon.
