The food was really good but it is a bit pricey as well. Dining area outside needs improvement (rocky tables/a few rusty chairs). Customer service could be tighter. The overall experience was good.
So... we got “The Platter”. Came with Mac n cheese, greens, rice and mushroom steak. Also copped the “Supreme Burger”.. and yaass! Firstly - I eat meat. I wasn’t expecting much moreover than my contributions to supporting a black business. Visiting from Seattle. If you live in the Houston area, and have not and/or considering stopping by - do yourself a favor. Don’t expect fancy silverware or linen table cloths. This ain’t the place. Just grab some good food. Oh, and the counter dude was funny.. and laughed at all of my corny jokes. Bless up.
It would have been perfect if they had a plant base burger option or seafood option. I loved the onion fries and I did try vanilla milkshake. I was not disappointed. Their spicy ketchup is a plus.
