Xiaolongbao (juicy steamed pork buns) - 4/5. juicy, thin wrapper, and decent sized filling. However the meat texture is a bit tough and lacking flavour. The vinegar doesnt have minced ginger slices so lacking some depth. 5 buns Shengjianbao (pan fried pork buns) - 4/5. Very juicy, generous portion. However, same issue with meat being a bit tough and lacking flavour. Recommend eating with some chilli oil. 5 buns Food is 4/5 but considering the price, this place is 5/5. You can see that their dumplings are fully hand made. Absolutely worth it!
Still my favorite place for Xiao long bao and (soup dumplings) and pan fried buns. 5 large soup dumplings filled with rich porky broth. Crispy hot soupy pan fried buns. Menu has changed a little I think since I was last here in placement. Still cash only!!! You’re still going to have to wait I. Line but well worth it!
The best dumpling I’ve ever had in Vancouver. I don’t like waiting for food, but I waited 30mins to pick up order and it was worth the wait. The dumpling is so juicy and flavorful Highly recommended to try it.
