First time visiting Second Bowl & I’m so happy! Walked in to order take out (Pho), was asked to sit while I waited & in less than 5 minutes my order was ready. Very polite staff. I absolutely loved the pho; great flavour, lots of beef & toppings, all separated. The portion was huge, so I saved half for tomorrow. Will definitely order again!
First off - I see a lot of reviews here talking about the service. If youre looking to be waited on hand and foot, go to Joey/BP/Earls. If youre expecting to get exceptional food minus the fuss of being asked how your food is every 10 mins, then go here. The food is incredible and very well-priced ($15 for a generous bowl of soup and $4 for salad/spring rolls). I had the Central Vietnamese soup (highly recommend) and it was delicious - just the right amount of spice heat (for me) and a good size for what I was hungry for. It honestly was perfect for a -20C night like tonight. Wife had the brisket pho and she was very satisfied. 10/10 would definitely come back.
This is my comfort food. The chicken satay soup is out of this world , so much flavour I crave it everyday.
