Ordered Mushroom, croissant and coffee. Mushrooms were full of flavour, the croissant was warm and fluffy, and the coffee was creamy. The only minor criticism was the green on top of the mushrooms, it was yellow and not that fresh. The place was open with beautiful sea view. Staffs were friendly, and the food came out quickly. Would highly recommend if you ever visit Airlie Beach. It is conveniently located near the Greyhound bus terminal, great first stop to enjoy a cup of coffee and some food.
Best breakfast in Airlie! We tried the avo toast, the truffle mushrooms and the muesli bowl and it was all delicious. Best iced coffees in a great location - perfect way to wake up! Super friendly staff - thanks Miguel for the recommendations!!! ????
Review from March:Rufus is a cute cafe with the perfect view. The service was great, very friendly and was very accommodating to our group of 6. Drinks were so good. Whoever was in charge of making the coffees and our juices left us with a good impression.Sadly, the 3 stars came from the underwhelming quality of food. Although the food sounded good on the menu, portions could have been bigger given their pricing as they were on the smaller side, eggs that were supposed to be runny were all hard boiled etc there was nothing special with these dishes. We thought that maybe this would be a hit and miss on just one dish, but this was consistent with all of our dishes. Would definitely come back for the coffee though.
