We also struck the elderly lady who was absolutely useless. Repeated the order for 2 serves of carrot cake a few times and ended up with caramel slice. Then it took much discussion behind the counter and we were finally presented with 2 slices of rock hard carrot cake that had obviously been in the cabinet for quite a while. Will never go back.
Older lady wasn't very friendly. It makes customers feel unwelcome. Food was average but coffee was good. Feel sorry for the other staff members.
Happy Melbourne vegan!The chef was very accommodating and was completely transparent about vegan options. Not much on the breakfast/lunch menu apart from the vegetarian burger to be adapted to vegan, but the chef (Trish) came out and spoke with us and gave us several different options for what she could make. The meals were super tasty and presented with love and care. We ended up going back three times because of the friendly service and fresh and delicious food. Total integrity from the chef! 5/5
