Dr. Yap is hands-down the best dentist in Port Alberni! One thing I value especially is that I never feel as if I am just an object moving through the various phases of treatment. He is so willing to communicate about options, treats his patients as equal human beings, can freeze your mouth without your even feeling a pinch of pain, and brings such a sense of optimistic happiness to the whole experience. And the support staff are as pleasant and connected as he is. I truly appreciate my dental experiences with this team.
They know exactly how to take away my anxiety about dental visits! They cover the exam and treatments very thoroughly and their work is excellent. So friendly, personal and comfortable environment.
Dental surgery was done with care, gentle and precise movements. Plenty of verbal warnings about noise coming up, I felt being taken care of. Surprise after freeze dissipated, there was almost no pain. I did not need any pills. Slept well and next day, no pain at all. WOW! God bless Dr. Yaps workshop.
