My mum and dad used to go here quite a bit while I was a kid, and they loved the food. 30 years later, I find myself going here when I want really good American Chinese food. The sweet and sour chicken ball sauce is the best. The deep red colouring is not normal, so they either do their own or modify an existing. Either way, it is absolutely delicious. I find their ribs are not the best but the sauce is great. Their rice has an unbelievable smokey taste and one of the best rices I have ever had. The chow mein is also very good. Not too thick and fresh tasting. I drive from Glace Bay to get New Moon and it never disappoints, unlike other restaurants in Glace Bay, Sydney, etc.
Food was absolutely amazing! I had the number 2. Sweet and sour chicken balls chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein with an egg roll and it was delicious. One of the best egg rolls Ive had in a long time.
