What a lovely place - there's a feeling of community and family here. There is a sense of grounded roots and local friends and family - and still, everyone is welcomeWhile I was visiting my family in Ireland we have visited Achill Island and visiting this restaurant was a treat. Very important to note - one of my family members is vegan and the chef created a fully custom dish, with a lot of care and love. Highly recommended + the beach near the location is stunning. Amazing food! I ordered mussels (€12.00) from the snack menu, expecting a smallish dish but what I actually got was an enormous tower which I struggled to get through. All in a delicious garlic, butter and cream sauce. Fantastic value for money. Very friendly staff who went out of their way for my autistic son. It won't be the last meal I have there. Impressive.
Cod and chips delicious and the sea food chowder just as good,lovely scenic drive up to the restaurant well worth a visit
