We were there on a hugely busy evening during a sunny Half-Term Tuesday. We arrived without a booking and only had to wait a few minutes to be seen to a table. Staff were efficient, attentive and friendly. It genuinely was one of the best curries we'd eaten in a long while. Rajasthani Lamb Chops main was outstanding; beautifully marinated and cooked, with 5 small, tender chops, yes 5. Sides and breads were generous and excellent and my health conscious wife was very impressed with the lack of oil in the dishes. They clearly cater for all tastes and budgets as, not only did they look after a small boy on an adjoining table by offering him nuggets and chips (
Bought a take out meal whilst we were in Seahouses on holiday. I did have to wait longer then expected when I arrived to collect, however the staff were friendly and informative and the restaurant was very busy.It was definitely worth the wait, good sized portions, very tasty food and not overpriced
We had a booking for 20.30. We weren't seated until 21.00. Other couples also booked in for 20.30 were also waiting. The restaurant was full and it seemed that too many booking.s had been made.Our order was taken in the waiting area 'to save time'- not a relaxing dinner experience!The pakora starters, when they arrived, were very bland with no spicing to them. They didn't taste freshly made either.The main courses took ages to arrive, and weren't tasty. My vegetable dish was mainly onion, with no substantial vegetables- cauliflower, broccoli etc that usually appear in a vegetable dish. The other main was lukewarm, though the chicken was pleasant. The rice and naan were mediocre, and that is being generous.Being truthful, we're sad to say that this was the worst Indian meal we have ever eaten.
