Awesome new place now open in the downtown core of Welland! Nice large open space for dining both indoors and outdoors, once side dedicated to games and arcade (not open atm/covid restrictions, but it looks soo cool! Cannot wait for that side to open up!) Stage for live music in the main dining area, projector screens for sports event viewing. Very large bar area and very comfortable waiting area near the restrooms for busy nights (theres even a nice fireplace too!). The food was AMAZING! I had The Mountie Burger with onion rings (first image) from the "Bailiffs Burger" menu selection (lol the sections on the menus are soo perfectly labeled its so funny!), my hubby had the "Buffalo Chicken Burger" with fries and a side of gravy (second image). Let me tell you, this was the most amazing burger ive had in a very long time! It was made with amazingly fresh ingredients, crisp vegetables and perfectly cooked beef on a brioche bun... it was piled high and even after trying to squish it i was only able to barely get the top bun in my bites haha. Serving sizes are amazing, you will not leave hungry when you eat here. I wasnt able to try any of the desserts during this first visit as we had to get home (and we were so full from our meals) and we couldnt possibly eat another bite lol. Definitely worth spending $50-70 on an amazing dinner date with your special someone or a small group dinner eith your friends. They have some amazing drink selections and daily specials too! Definitely will be coming back for another round because these guys knocked it out of the park today, in every way. Service was fast, server was polite and the food was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Overall 10/10 and 5 stars HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE! ***UPDATE!!*** Feb 4th 2022!! Went back for another round of deliciousness now that we are all double vaxxed and have our QR codes! Took our youngest daughter out for lunch, she had the Chicken Quesadilla, which she devoured every bite of, which is rare for her because she is picky like her father lol, he had the Buffalo Chicken Tenders with fries and a side of gravy, sooo good (I stole a bite lol) and I had the most amazing Mac n Cheese Ive ever had! It was beyond creamy and perfectly cooked, and served in my own little pot too! Soo cute! I seriously love everything about this place, from the menu section/selection titles, the mixed drink names (you have to read em to see what I mean!! Too funny!) and the serving sizes will definitely ensure you do not leave hungry. For dessert we shared a slice of their Turtles cheesecake with a side of vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream and a slice of the Triple Chocolate decadent cake... omg if you have a sweet tooth, you will not be disappointed with these amazing options!! Cant wait to go back for more!!

I went to the Honest Lawyer in Welland with my son and enjoyed a light lunch on New Years Eve afternoon. I helped the owner find his phone he misplaced at Rona and later I get a text message from him saying thanks for the help and he said that I could have a meal on him at the restaurant he owns. So I took him up on his offer and were very pleased with the food and service we received. I will come back to the Honest Lawyer with the family when the restrictions get lifted. Cheers

Had the honest nachos which I split with my friend and they were great and had $8 mini pitchers which was also a great deal we thought. Good service. Friendly staff. Will be back next week with our baseball crew!
