We drove from our cottage in Middleton to have breakfast ☕????in Cobh. Breakfast was excellent with scones and coffee ☕. We sat outside and had a nice chat with a couple of locals who usually spend their mornings there greeting their fellow residents. Also Frank Moynihan who served us gave me a history lesson about the blue granite used in both the Cobh Cathedral and the Basilica in St.John's, Newfoundland, my birthplace.It all was one of those moments that you relish from travels
Picked up a latte here after going to the titanic experience today, hands down the the best coffee I've ever had, and I've worked in the hospitality industry for the best part of 8 years, with countless coffees daily lovely cosy feeling there too. Definitely my go to coffee stop whenever I'm in Cobh now.
The vegetarian Irish breakfast, delivered with convivial finesse and complete with a perfect pesto tart as well as perfectly grilled sliced mushrooms and of course beans on the side with a faultless fried egg. The busy bearded barista completed the scene.
