My favorite place to visit daily my uncle Wayne La Croix (godfather)helped design make the Water Wheel that sits near hwy24 main Entrance ways pond. It was a Southwood High School Class that worked on and put it there and it remains there to this day. It no longer works but it is still there. Its what I cherish most. He died when I was only 2 years old, so it means just a little bit more to me for that reason.
Awesome park for the whole family! Great nature walk trails, nice big playground and a small splash pad for the kiddos! Beautiful spot for having a picnic, walking or cycling!
This is an AMAZING park! We just discovered it yesterday and its now our favorite! Great trails for biking and scooting. Awesome play areas for kids. Baseball diamonds and big fields. Its early in spring so I assume there will be even more options (picnics and such) as the weather gets better. Most importantly its clean!!
