My wife and I were on vacation in Ireland. Though the food has been outstanding, after a while the menus seem to blend together. So, we decided to roll the dice on Indian food in a small town. Are we glad we did! We have eaten Indian food across America, in the UK, and Ireland. This was some of the best we’ve ever had.Everything was fresh made to order, with local high-quality ingredients. The samosas were the size of my home rather than a tiny little triangle. When we asked about them the waitress shared that it was the chefs mothers recipe she would talk from how to make them properly. Boy did she ever! We had one mild curry which was sweet and super flavorful and then we had another which we ordered with an extra kick to it. It was the perfect level of spiciness while still allowing you to experience all the layers the other spices. And the naan bread was out of this world. Sure, they only bring you one…but it was huge, like 18” across and delicious. In the attached photograph we’ve already eaten half of it. If you’re ever in the area do yourself a favor and have dinner here and, if you live nearby… We envy you!
Easily the best Indian cuisine I’ve tasted in Roscommon area. If you’re a group, try to get different appetizers for sharing so you can have a little taste of everything. They have a gigantic Naan bread, that’s good for sharing! Service could be improved a little bit tho, could’ve been greeted with a smile. But overall, recommended!
Ordered a takeaway of three curry dishes with pilau rice and onion bajees and they were absolutely delicious. I would have given five stars but the front of house lady who served us was extremely unfriendly.
