2 flake, chips for 2 and tartare sauce for less than $20. Given the previous reviews I was worried, but we wanted to have fish and chips by the water so gave it a go. We were pleasantly surprised!!! Everything was delicious!!
Went to this shop at lunchtime today while in Glenelg as it looked like a traditional Aussie fish and chips shop. Order two King George Whiting crumbed, eight prawn cutlets and chips for $38,80 and ate in square near tram stop. The whole meal had excessive oil which spoilt the taste. Having since read the previous reviews, would suggest owner need to review shop operations before he goes out of business. Also no lemon or tarter sauce.
Delicious fish & perfect chips. Fish battered before your eyes, chips cooked to perfection - crispy crunchy on the outside, soft & fluffy on the inside. Decent serve, unbelievably non-greasy, pleasant people, good service. Third time we've been there this year & have had the same great experience each time. Highly recommended!
