Worst Polish or eastern European food I had. Stuffed cabbage with paper-thin layer of cabbage wrapped around solid bland ground meat in a tomato sauce with no flavor. Such were also the other items we sampled. Poles often poorer, so much higher cabbage to meat ratio. May be authentic food for some family, but not exciting enough for eating out. And no atmosphere. Service prompt, but seemed bored. Orlando area has grown multicultural in its cuisine. Just a block from the most authentic Mexican eatery in Orlando. Mostly Mexican-American customers. Contrast couldn't be greater.
Wonderful. They kept apologizing for the wait but I preferred it, when I go out to eat I’m there for the experience, the atmosphere, and to take my time. I don’t like being rushed through my meal like most American restaurants, I felt like I was back in Europe where I could actually enjoy my food and beer. They were super nice and generous, helped us with the umbrella outside to shield our two babies from the sun, they grabbed a high chair for our son even though I could tell they were pretty busy. The food was delicious, I really enjoyed the potato pancakes, I regret not ordering more of them. I am happy to find this place. It’s worth the wait times: sit down, have a beer, enjoy the company you are with.
Traditional style Polish/Eastern European food. Vast selection of dishes, deserts, beers, and wines. I would recommend the pickle soup, goulash, and really anything on the menu as I've tried most all of it. Check the dates on the deli items though fair warning some have been expired for awhile.
