On the way to Loch Ness we stopped for breakfast. There was more than enough parking for cars. The cafe prepares all food and drinks to go, but offers some indoor and outdoor seating. The rolls and breakfast we had were fantastic, as was the cashier who served us. All in all, a great place to go if you're hungry for an excellent breakfast!

Stop here for breakfast; you won't regret it!We stopped by for breakfast three times during our stay in Fort Augustus. If we had found it earlier it would have been five visits. The stream of guys in orange jackets/vests who stop in for a quick bite really tell you the story of the food: it's tasty and comforting. Although we didn't try the coffee, everyone else who stopped in ordered some, so I assume it was also good.Things we tried:Wee breakfast: This is a really good traditional breakfast -- a 'fry' if I got it right. The meats were piping hot off of Darren's grill, and they just tasted great.Veggie Wee breakfast: My wife isn't fond of some of the sausages, so she had the vegetarian version and loved it. I tried her veggie haggis and it was as good as any of the meats -- maybe even better.Rumbledethumps (3x): This was a unique dish on our trip. It's cooked cabbage blended with a mash of potato and turnip with your choice of topping. My wife had hers with eggs and cheese and said it was fantastic. I had their haggis, which also tastes really good.Magnificent 7: This is essentially the wee breakfast, without toast, on a bun. To be honest, if you're sitting down to eat even at the tables outside, the wee breakfast may be a better option; this was pretty messy to eat. That said, I liked it as well or better than the wee breakfast, but I basically deconstructed much of the bun to avoid the mess.I have and will continue to recommend Kelly and Darren's place to my friends across social media, and truly believe this is a 'must try' if you are in the area.

Such a great find for a quick late breakfast/early lunch on the drive from Inverness to Glasgow. Super friendly and kind staff. Amazing breakfast plate. Lovely little garden area across the street to eat outside on a gorgeous March morning! Be warned, you have to park on the opposite side of the street and the cafe comes up quickly if heading south as its around a bend in the road!
