The recent food price rises have made me give a lower rating but don't discount this place. It does exactly what you expect from a London cafe. A good sized meal, friendly service, banter with the customers and a full stomach. The sound of birds tweeting makes it seem more relaxed. It's popular with truck drivers, the industrial estate, builders and the police. All are welcome here.
Food is very nice, and big portions, but prices have just shot up, my usual breakfast was £7.95 (2 extras), now it is £11.55!! Also, fresh Orange juice £3.95!! Will now have to go elsewhere. Shame as the food is nice and quick service
Excellent cafe. I always bring my clients here on our lunch break as I know they are guaranteed excellent food as well as a very friendly service.They cater excellently for vegans and have even offered me daily specials when they have them, knowing I am vegan.
