Wandlyn Inn Amherst

Fantastic! We pulled in off the highway and in a distant fog saw sky-high windmills, at this gorgeous hotel with a stunning view! We were delighted by the courteous new owners and their family hospitality and friendliness, and this pet friendly hotel was a great experience - near the New Brunswick / Nova Scotia border. I am looking forward to returning and would recommend this to anyone.

The experience was excellent!!! The room was huge and very clean. The owners and staff were very friendly. The free breakfast was excellent as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our flight out of Moncton, NB was canceled and the next available flight was not for 3 days. With every hotel booked for 30min in every direction, we were lucky to get in here. Its an older hotel on a quiet highway but, theyre updating the rooms as quickly, and quietly, as possible. New tub/shower inserts, new tvs, new fridges, new microwaves. The hotel is clean and the staff super friendly and helpful. Pet friendly. Theres an adorable little pup who couldnt resist my lap every time I sat down in the lobby. Basic continental breakfast but, I never partook. Close to major shopping i.e. Walmart, Sobeys, Dollarama, a grocery store in missed the name of. If you get a chance while youre here, check out Duncans Pub in town. The food is delicious. Prices seemed a little high to me but, I dont frequent pubs so... Overall, a very pleasant stay.
