Modern but comfy cafe with very decent food. Great for Harry Potter fans as JK Rowling came here to write and find inspiration. Seems a good place to do some work as there were a number of people on their laptops.
OK overall. This coffee shop's biggest attraction is its history; J. K. Rowling wrote some of the early Harry Potter stories here. Also, there are lots of tables, the WiFi is free and the staff is generally friendly.There are a few things that bring this coffee shop down though. First, I thought the food was overpriced. I paid £6 for the tempura shrimp and got just three shrimp. It tasted fine though. Also, as another review pointed out, the tables feel sticky. I think this is due to how the tables were varnished as opposed to a cleanliness issue. There are few power outlets (for laptop users) and the few they did have were being used by lamps. The entrance was tricky to find too.It's the sort of place you could visit once if for no other reason than J. K. made history here.
