Having read the reviews we chanced our arms and dropped into the Galleon to see if we could grab a quick bite and were delighted to get a table. Perhaps it was because of the stormy conditions outside but we didn't care we were hungry.The staff were quick, very friendly & more than happy to help with any queries. As we didn't have alot of time we only ordered mains. I had the scampi & chips & my mum had the fish, chips & mushy peas. Both were delicious. We can't wait to visit again & spend more time to really enjoy our food.
Best service in Salthill! Oslo couldn't seat us at 7:15pm with 8pm closure due to covid restrictions so we decided to try Galleon. Not only were the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating but the service was quick and both the starters and the mains exceeded expectations.
Went to the Galleon in Salthill with my mother we had a lovely meal very generous portions and some lovely nostalgic dishes on the menu, I had to go for the mixed grill as I haven't seen it on a menu for years and it didn't disappoint it was beautifully done the staff were very pleasent we had a lovely waitress, the venue was very clean including the toilets we will definitely return next time we are in the area and would highly recommend.
