Was about to leave a review and I can see all the low reviews on here get a sarcastic response from the owner whilst the compliments have no response. That talks for itself. Travel 1 minute drive/5 minute walk down the road to codfathers. Chips unmatched to this place. I used to eat regularly here as I work locally but on a few occasions I have received horrible chips.
Ordered a takeaway a few weeks back, really delicious and proper fish & chips but the portions are absolutely tiny for the price, the prices are higher than other local fish & chip shops in the area, I was shocked to see the size of the fish once I got home and opened the box
Ripping people off £11.50 just for a box of cod and chips and portion does not even look that big not value towards your money and £3.50 for a portion of chips you don’t even get that much inside. Atleast lower your prices then maybe you will get more customers I think £5 for a box of fish and chips is a reasonable price
