Holy Cow!!!I have been working in and around the food and beverage industry my entire life. I have formal training and culinary arts and have worked under some incredible chefs.Finding the “taste of India “off of interstate five in unsuspecting, Buttonwillow California, is something akin to a “twilight zone “experience…Who would guess that some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life is at a truck stop next to a national nine motel.I haven’t anything negative at all to say about this. Just a gastronomical and olfactory orgasm. Seriously. Don’t pass this up. Whoever is working in their kitchen are incredibly skilled.
Pulled off for cheap (in these times) gas. Took the risk for gas station town Indian food- was SOOOO Pleasantly surprised! Best Indian food I’ve had since moving to the central coast! And honestly, THE best samosas I’ve ever had!
Exceptional food and entertaining staff. Good place to stop on I-5. Clean facility and timely service.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting Indian cuisine while traveling.
