Some of the friendliest staff I have ever seen. They know seafood like you would expect from 3 generations of ownership. They made us feel welcomed without being imposing. Get there early since line is long. A bit pricey but worth it.
Not a full review yet but sharing some info for folks looking to stop by in the next few days. Be mindful of the holiday as they will be closed for a week. Also, they have outdoor seating in addition to the bar/counters inside. :) BRB with a complete review. — Full review: Such a wonderful time. Seafood is so fresh and the customer service is really everything one could ever ask for. Will def return when back in the Bay area.
Everything about this little gem is happy. The people waiting in line are happy to chat. The owner and his crew behind the counter are happy to educate you on the seafood (and refill your glass). And finally, you’re happy when your belly is full of delicious & fresh oysters and fish! It’s a warm and inviting counter that you should not miss when in SF!
