It’s the rare authentic Japanese sushi restaurant. The softly held rice, its mildly but properly prepared vinegar taste, and the quality of fishes. They offer the real sushi that we taste in Japan. I am very happy to find here! As the wife of the chef is Chinese, even their dumping is delicious. Many side dishes and sweets prepared by her are excellent. When I eat Japanese foods, I come here.
This is a fantastic Japanese restaurant. The food is authentic. I have been in Montreal for 10 years. Not until I went to this restaurant had I been aware of the real taste of Japanese food because whether the so-called Japanese food in Chinatown or around Concordia never tells you what Japanese food is supposed to be like. More importantly, they import real Japanese fish and wine. Moreover, the Japanese cook and his wife are helpful. I suggest you guys to go and get their sushi and fish.
Its a classic neighbourhood sushi place. Nothing too fancy, convenient, good service, and better than grocery sushi. I found the quality really good for the poke bowls, but it was a bit small for the price. Also it was quite empty when we went after the gym, so we got a nice table and just chatted away and ate. My friends apartment is literally 2 minutes away so after we just went back to her place to hang out. If you live in the area, I would give it a chance!
