Had lots of meals here, the first time I came here I had squid with chips and salad. Since then I always ordered the squid when I came here. In my personal opinion they have the most amazing squid in town! Unlike other squid I had before, either too small or too dry. Their squid is soft, big and flavoursome! Last few times I tried something different: squid wrap with chips! It is still amazing and as usual big serves. But I forgot to take photos for the wrap. Today my friend and I shared a seafood platter with chips together, and I remembered to take photos for it! And then I had a lemon cake after. Their desserts are always amazing too.We have nice view when we are eating outside next to the wetland. The staff is always friendly and enthusiastic. Sometimes the food can be a bit slow but worth the wait. Recommend this place, if you come, you must try their squid!
TBH, Sumthin Tastee has to be one of the best cafes in SA. Today I opted for a tastee toastie! What's not to love about a simple cheese, tomato, spinach and home-made relish sandwich? Sooooo cheesy and fresh with the sweet tasting, beetroot relish adding magic to the mix. Support this locally owned family business and you will leave with a full belly and a smile on your face!!
Lovely place, surprised by the quality of the food. The brekky roll was very nice - fresh bread, well cooked egg and all. The Haloumi on toast looked very fancy - drizzled in balsamic and sprinkled with spices. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
