Absolutely daylight robbery. So angry. Pulled up the menu online through the Treehouse website, thought the 'fish and chip sandwich' for $11 to be good value and I enjoyed it last time. Described on the menu as
Awful food. Have always come here when I come to Townsville, but this will be the last. Standards are terrible. Happy to wait the long wait time for quality, but this all ended up in the bin. Soggy chips, potato scallops where the potato is black and not totally cooked.
Was looking forward to some nice fish n chips for dinner. Prices didn’t match the website and are pretty expensive for what you get.The chips could have been cooked longer as they were soft and soggy. Fish was more batter than fish.Overall pretty poor experience and wouldn’t go back or recommend this place
