This down to earth place has the perfect selection of all different walks of life. I feel most comfortable at this bar. They have the best selection of karaoke. Everybody can feel comfortable to be themselves and to let loose. There is no pretense here. Definitely my favourite.
This is an underrated bar. Wendy, the bartender on Fridays, is a joy. She will remember you if you go often enough! Fran (the regular karaoke host) is probably one of the best I have ever encountered, so encouraging, down to earth and has a great voice!! The place is pretty much a dive bar but I feel that is part of the charm for this place! Drinks are cheap on the bright side, especially for the area. The people inside are a hit or miss, sometimes it is mostly young and hip, other times there are very few people and then there are times where there is a mix of old and young. You never know what youre gonna get but if you want karaoke this is the spot on Fridays!! Saturdays are not as good and wouldnt recommend someone checking it out for the first time to go on a Saturday unless you are with a big crew and are already a few drinks deep!
I go to karaoke night here often, the women are always wonderful and its a very comfortable atmosphere to sing in; especially if you get a bit nervous!
