Cannot fault this place! Went in today as I fancied cooked a lobster, I asked the best way to break and eat, the lady (I believe Scottish? Apologies if I am wrong) was more than happy to assist. Broke it down and packaged it for me. I then asked about the oysters and again best way to eat (novice when it comes to sea food) and unfortunately she couldn't open the oyster, but gave it a good effort, her colleague however did. Now I wasn't expecting to be sampling my first oyster in the presence of others there and then.. but I am all for trying new things. So in good spirit and with other customers I had my first oyster, and it was delicious.. We all had a great laugh and the customer service was exceptional.. Got back had the lobster and honestly faultless. Very delicious... Could not recommend these anymore, great food, good prices and outstanding customer service. Cheers both for the laughs and service!
Lovely fishes...We called into here early on the morning we headed back home. This place was a good highlight to our holiday.We kept all our goods in a high quality cool box (thermos)during what turned out to be a 10 hour drive home.We bought crab meat, prawns, cockles, mussels and possibly the best salmon pate we've ever had.Very much worth a visit in possibly the best fishing town we found in Cornwall.Good service and easy to find.
Brilliant array of fresh fish and seafood. Had some tasty cockles and mackerels. They perfectly gutted the fish for me and I filleted at home. Made an amazing fresh dish with pan fried mackerel, new potatoes, green beans and leeks!
