The best place I have ever gone and probably will ever go for Jamaican cuisine. It is worth the drive. You cannot go wrong with anything off the menu!
One Stop Jerk Center Jamaican is an absolute gem. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant serves the kind of quality, value-driven food that is increasingly rare in big cities as prices and rents continue to climb. My colleagues and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to grab lunch during a lull in the conference were we attending downtown. We ordered jerk chicken, stew chicken and curry goat along with a mix of Jamaican sides. We were not disappointed - this is some of the best Jamaican food any us of ever tasted. Where other restaurants may cut corners or sacrifice authenticity to lure a broader audience, this humble neighborhood restaurant is clearly committed to serving incredible food at a great price. If you're ever in Tampa its definitely worth the trip.
Love these “hole in the wall” restaurants. The staff had great customer service. The food was delicious my friend that was with me even told me to give them five stars. We got the oxtails w/ rice and peas, collard greens, & sweet potatoes. They also serve dessert, I didn’t get this time but will be back for more.
