Regularly buying takeaway food from this shop, this recently changed management i think, but surprisingly getting better, super friendly staff always, the shop is spotless clean, I have been used to eat Chinese food (strongly suggest spare ribs and salt chilli chicken also threaded beef) and have to say this is genuinely orient tastes, I love their fish and chips also, always cook on order thus golden crispy fresh, hey recently increased their price a bit like 20/30p etc, but considering the price rising for everything recently I think it is reasonable , cannot fault anything.
Very good fish and chips. Good Chinese takeout. My children like to eat here a lot, it's quite affordable and clean.
CHECK THE PRICES BEFORE YOU PAYHaven't been to the fish & chips shop for ages as I had moved away but recently returned and my ĺast experience was good but not on this occasion.My negative review is due the counter lady trying to charge me more than the display board prices - in my view overcharging!I ordered my meal, waited for it to be cooked and then she tried to charge me more than the prices displayed. She informed me they had a price rise (pointing at a small typed note on the sneeze screen) and therefore the prices on the big display board and leaflets on the counter were wrong. I asked why the display prices had not been changed or at least the prices covered up to reduce the potential for confusion? No response!I asked for the manager - told he was Jason but not on duty, Asked for his surname - employee didn't know it - very strange.With other fish & chip shops locally - will not be returning due to their attitude for displaying incorrect prices.
