I needed some wool for my crochet and came here because of the adjoining cafe. I was not disappointed. They were dog friendly and the customer service was exceptional. I was surprised and delighted that I could get dairy free and gluten free options in the cafe. The food was superb. The locals were very friendly too. Thank you and I'll definitely back this way on my next holiday
I visited on 5th May 2022 with my elderly Father. We had lunch there and chose the soup and a sandwich deal plus added chips as an extra and coffee. The food looked and tasted really nice and there was plenty to fill us up. The cafe was just right in size regarding the spaces between the tables and I noticed the tables were thoroughly cleaned after each person left ready for the next customer. There is a small W.C. Adjacent to the cafe which is all on ground floor level.We looked around the craft shop attached to the cafe. You could spend a few hours just looking as there is so much. Anyone who wants to make anything, paint any picture, knit, sew, or make scenes for railways etc. Is well catered for.Nice ideas too for gifts for people to give others and cards etc for birthdays etc.I live in Yorkshire and was up visiting family. I will definitely go there again next time I’m up and highly recommend the place.
Great place, managed to get everything (and more) that I needed for my projects. Its well organised and staff a so friendly and helpful.I grew up going to this shop and will also find a way/reason to come to it!
