Great cheap eat spot. A staple of The Saint-Laurent scene. I go once in a while there for the great Portuguese Soul food. The Beer on tap is always on point and never flat. The patrons and servers/workers there are some really nice people. I recommended it all the time. If I go there for tapas I always order the Petisco Plate (Strips of Pork Scallops, cheese, chouriço all in that awesome Portuguese sauce served with bread) and the Garlic Shrimp. Like I said... Great Cheap eat.
This is my favorite spot because the kitchen stays open late. The food is great and the price is reasonable for what you get. I always meet people in the restaurant business there, whether they are servers, restaurant or bar owners. This gives you an indication of how good the food is. Check out the specials of the day. You get a great value.
The food is always amazing (one of the only places EVER Ive had CONSISTENTLY ripe avocado. Ever damn time!!!), Full of flavour & beautifully balanced. Great service with a lovely atmosphere. And the prices are PERFECT! Affordable and fair!!! One of the hidden gems of the plateau!!! (...shhhhhh....)
