Had 3 cheeseburgers and chips yesterday. Worst we've ever had. Burgers were forgot in the deep fryer. After the boy realised and said a few choice words to himself they were fished out and placed in the buns. The chips were a mix of soggy hard and bruised. Needless to say as it was a sunday pm we ended up eating crisps and chocolate. Also to have to add the place wasn't clean there was mould and grime on the counter. If your sat waiting you start to see all the hidden extras.. such a shame
Terrible quality chippy that makes it’s annual revenue on a few sunny weekends when the beaches fill up. Cod was flavourless, chips were old and soggy, mushy peas had no flavour - all for an inflation-busting £14. Nice to see the owner’s gleaming Mercedes parked out front though. No love for food - just an industrial deep-frying cash machine.
Worst bit of fish I've ever had, really tough and dry, maybe an old bit from yesterday or the day before found its way back in the warmer. It really was like chewing a leather soul. My friend ordered at the same time and said his was okay.Cost me over £11.50 for a small portion of chips. Even the seagulls couldn't pull it apart. Never again.
