I have been eating at Gus Balon's since the early 80's and still enjoy the comfort food which is still made at the restaurant. The service is good, basic and fast, just what is needed at a breakfast/lunch spot. This is a third generation family owned restaurant. Keep up the great work!
I have been eating here since the beginning, 1965, I believe. And it is still the same today. That is a good thing. Typical Midwest diner. Breakfast, good sandwiches and hearty hot plates. Be sure to have a slice of great pie afterwards. Nothing fancy. Not too expensive. Friendly service.
Great breakfast place, always busy and the folks there are wonderful. The bread is made in house and is very yummy. Haven't had a bad meal there and I've been going there for a long time. If there is a line, it is well worth the wait.
