Located on the ground floor of the Law Society of British Columbia, this cafe is "disguised" as a top notch curry outpost. They serve up to 6 different curries daily, both meat and vegetarian options. A real gem of a spot for authentic East Indian curry. They also serve one of the best chai teas in the downtown peninsula. I usually opt for the 2 curry combo served with basmati rice and naan. The next time you have a hankering for some good curry, give this place a try. Very friendly staff and efficient quick service!
Wow. I cant believe I have been living across the street from this place for 2 years and havent tried it until now. If you want beautifully seasoned, good quality and cheap Indian food this is the place! Beware they close at 3p.m (I wish they could stay open all day) so make sure to get your food early. Butter chicken is incredible and the naan is just perfect. Will be a new regular lunch time spot for me.
While the curries are the superstars, the rice really punches up the meal and deserves as much praise. Top the meal off with a tasty masala chai and conclude you had a great lunch!
