The best fresh mozzarella in Manhattan since Joe's closed. You would have to head out to Staten Island or Hoboken to find better. UPDATE 11/21: I still wish they had an express line for people who know what they want, but at least now the take a number system has been replaced with a more normal line, which is much less confusing to newcomers and seems to keep things moving better. Often crowded- remember to take a number when you walk in. I wish they had an express cash and carry line so everyone would not have to wait for the lady who wants to try a taste of everything in the store before she buys her loaf of bread.
