Destiny Banquet Hall

My husband Paul and I want to thank Lori and her team for absolutely everything that they promised and delivered. This was our second time coming to Destiny Banquet hall. First was our wedding June.3.16 the second time for our Baby shower Nov.5.17 Consultations: When we sat down with Lori, She heard us out and with our permission she suggested many options (which were better options) she has done this for many years, professional indeed. She truly loves her job and made us feel welcomed not only just for business but truly for our events. Great at following up. Letting us set up: With our set up before event such as our centre pieces/decoration... Her staff were professional and funny ( told us not to stress/everything will be fine) Asked us if there was anything that we needed to let them know, they brought my helpers water/juice) which was extremely nice because we were not expecting that at all and we needed it running up and down. Food: we got nothing but compliments on our wedding day ( sit down) and on our Baby shower we had the buffet style, we had our guest not just getting 1 or 2... but 3 plates. They loved it. Which made us really happy that our guest loved the food. Great quality and quantity Atmosphere: Great! Loved the lights on the columns. Easy access to everything. Plenty of parking. Washroom clean and neat. Great place to take many pictures. Again, Thank you Lori and staff. Definetly recommend this place 100%!

Choosing your wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions youll ever have to make. And as I found out, this is especially true if your wife is Italian with a few hundred opinionated (and lovely!) family members :) So, when choosing a venue for our wedding, I hit the spreadsheets hard. I did a comparison of over 76 (yes... 76!) banquet halls in and around Woodbridge as well as others in the GTA and downtown. We were looking for somewhere that had GREAT food (seriously, that should be your #1 priority) was reasonably priced (haha, its a wedding, good luck!) and was willing to customize the menu since I wanted a few Polish options too. After all that research, we decided to go with Destiny Banquet hall! In fact, they ended up hosting our engagement party prior to the wedding and most recently we came back to them to host our baby shower too! Lori and Vince will instantly make you feel like family and are willing to work with you to make sure whatever it is you need is taken care of. Our guests loved the food! Trust me, if something was off, we would definitely hear about it... We had the full Italian style menu with an antipasto buffet, pasta, main entree, salad, dessert and of course an open bar. Pricing is still expensive (which you really cant avoid for anything with the word wedding in it) but youll find them to be significantly more reasonable than some of the ridiculous "name brand" venues. The other quotes we received were simply insane (they nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING.. $2 a napkin, $5 a seat cover - are you kidding me) They also have recently renovated the place (the current pictures dont do justice!) So, definitely check them out if your planning your event - you wont regret it! And, ask Lori for the "Matt deal" and you might just get some free pierogi thrown in :)

This event venue is not only beautiful but the management and staff are the best in the business. They help us with my client and my daughters event and it all came out amazing. They were the nicest and most supportive banquet hall I ever work with.
