I understand Sundays is a busy day for the employees but after I was seated I waited 20min for someone to help take my drink and food order.Finally I got the attention of a waitress named Bertha.. she said they were busy and I said I understand but no one had even offered drinks, and the other side table who was seated 15min after was being help and I was not she proceeded to say in a rude tone “ she did know what to say but she had two other tables and what did I want” .. I asked for her name and left. All she had to do was apologize for the wait and proceeded with taking my order, she did not have to be rude.I waited patiently for someone to help with my order and for her to come with attitude?? The customer service needs to drastically improve
I used to LOVE Chef Lees, Salinas restaurant; however, We just went and wasted $75, I works hard for my money and know I can cook better Chinese food than what we received. We did return 3 plates and 2 of them were fresher but the same quality. No bueno, the third, we did not want replaced and they still charged us for it!! No, I will not be returning. I understand they are short staffed, they did their best to serve quickly which they did, but it was burnt and not good.
My favorite Chinese place for 20 years... Good family restaurant or take out... Reasonable and large portions... Plenty of parking... Nearby shopping... Thank you Chef Lee's for being a part of our family's life... You have always hit the spot!
