New owners are very helpful. Was looking for a product that did not have in stock and they went out of their way to get it for me. Still a cute little shop with yummy goodies!
I love it here. The shop is run by the daughter but Ive seen the father out in the community at some of the local British pubs. I really enjoy going to pubs in the UK and it has always surprised me how some the most important and distinctive features of a British pub seem to get misplaced when a British pub opens its doors in Canada. Ive been to a British pub in Italy that was more authentic than the ones in Canada, and Canada has a significantly higher British ex-pat population than Italy. I would love it if British Imports expanded into becoming a supplier of British goods to nearby British pubs. It would help our community celebrate British culture, and it may help drive a profitable new revenue stream for this shop.
