Visited the Brewhaus recently and had a really great experience there. The place is very welcoming and friendly, where you can strike up a conversation with a complete stranger. It reminds me of the type of gathering spot that people congregated to in decades past (before people started burying their face into a cell phone rather than having an interesting conversation with the person next to them) Will definitely be coming back here again. You should too.
This bar is awesome. Great fast bartenders. Sunday Funday. It's not very pretentious, bathroom could use a little work, but you don't go out to get a beer because of the bathroom. Very center city Philadelphia like vibes in Michigan, because it's got the efficiency of a well oiled machine enough that it's somewhere professionals would go, to rough it a little, but it's safe and in a good area despite not being ultra pristine. Cozy, it kind of forces you to mix. I like it.
They get 3 because thus where my coworkers like to hang and karaoke night is fun. Overall great bar. And decent enough food to keep us drinking! Cheers!
