Service, food and outlook were absolutely 5 star.We didn’t have a booking, but we were offered a table right on the waterfront. The wait staff were helpful and friendly and we had the freshest seafood beautifully cooked & presented. Thank you for making our lunch such a stand-out part of our holiday. We had been recommended this restaurant by friends and they were spot on! Wish we could transport it to Brisbane.
More than just a fish shop, really good fish cooked exceptionally well. That’s just the takeaway, the restaurant is the same but more choices and a nice environment for lunch. The salt and pepper calamari starter was moist, tender and tasty and the Ginger Beer battered fish was excellent.The servings are generous and the service is good.Pretty good wine and beer list also. I’m going back for the steak.
I am now convinced about all the negative reviews on this platform.It was meant to be a Birthday celebration for us tonight. A total disappointment unfortunately, when you want to support the local businesses.The owner firstly has to change his frowning face and be friendly. This is hospitality you are in. We are not doing us a favour to eat in your establishment. Be polite and happy!! Not hard..When the meals arrived they were totally not to standard, no one even bothered asking If everything was good. Our dog gets better food.An empty restaurant too, just a few families.One of us ordered a chicken salad, and when arrived had no chicken. When this was brought to there attention, they slapped it in another bowl and just left in on the table.I will never go back. Disgusting it is
