I was so full halfway through, and I ate the whole thing. Because it was so unbelievably delicious. I ordered the braised beef and rice noodle medium spicy. So so so good. Price is cheap 12.80 for something incredible. Can't wait to try more!
Great place to get delicious, authentic, spicy Chinese meals and decent serving size. There used to be one in Sunnybank Plaza too, was sad that they closed the restaurant there, but at least the one in CBD is still operating. Highly recommend their signature Maocai, yum yum. I didn't see any vegetarian meals though.
I ordered their signature dish Mao Cai today and I have found scraps of rice noodle on the bottom of the bowel which does not include in this dish. The dish had a very strong lamb flavor (aroma) which is very odd because there's no lamb in this dish also - especially the veggies. The lamb flavor is very distinctive . The veggies looked like they have been soaked in the soup base for a very long time as the color appear to be dark and there's no texture to the veggies anymore, very mushy. As I've mentioned before, the veggies has a very strong lamb taste, I really think that they have re-sold a dish (possible their lamb rice noodle soup) that someone has not finished and re-made it into another dish and this is disgusting and unacceptable. This is not the first time that I have ordered this before and it tasted nothing like that! I ordered take way and did not ask for a receipt and I don't need a refund, will never visit again. I feel sick after eating this and I question the integrity of their food Hygiene and safety. I am absolutely disgusted...I'm concerned for the safety of their dishes!
