Way too much egg (a mountain) on the breakfast sandwich that was over-cooked and under-seasoned. Bagel was good
This is the second best bagel place in Los Angeles after Brooklyn Bagel on Beverly. Source: I am Jewish and used to live in New York Edit: I have changed my mind and now believe it is the 3rd best bagel place in LA, because I have since tried Belle's Bagels on York, which is now in first place. However, I still strongly recommend Sam's if the location is convenient for you.
The food is great and they are one of my favorite bagel places in the area. When I order from them online my food is wrong probably 75% of the time. It’s a shame because, again, the bagels are great. But it’s almost never what I ordered. I called about the issue once and the manager said that “he can’t control what happens with the people making the food.” It was a wild response. Go in person. Never ever order online.
